As a member of the Ghent University Association (AU GENT), Artevelde University College Ghent is one of the largest universities in Flanders (14,000 students).
The Business School counts 3,000 students. 30% of them are foreigners.

Campus
The university has 11 campuses. You will be on Kattenberg campus, which is a 15-minute walk away from the historic center of Gent.
Treat yourself at the campus’ restaurant ! You can enjoy the daily specials and soup for less than 5 euros. Sandwiches and salads are also available.
The campus offers plenty of choice for sports enthusiasts: badminton, dance, volleyball, basketball, swimming, indoor football, training, etc.

Gent is ranked as the 3rd “coolest” destination in the world and is regularly in the top 10 cities to visit. To visit: Veldstraat – for shopping, Vooruit – art center, Overpoort – for nightlife, Blaarmeersen – for the beach around the lake, Graslei – for the riverside & Three Towers – for its historical monuments.
The city has 70,000 students for 250,000 inhabitants which makes it a young, lively and dynamic city.
The city is a cyclist’s paradise whether in town or along the Leie River.

Accommodation
The campus offers students accommodation for a minimum rental period of 4 to 5 months. You have to plan everything very early to get a room !
Rental going from € 450 / month for a single room to € 600 / month for a large double room.
