Strengths
The founders of ESIC in 1965 set themselves the mission of training people with a global and integral vision throughout their professional cycle in management, marketing, innovation and digital skills. The objective was and still is today, to promote the transformation of students so that they can successfully evolve in their professional lives in a responsible manner and become agents of change in organizations and society.
To achieve this objective, ESIC has a teaching staff of high academic level and close to the business world, 123 agreements with universities and schools around the world, 12 campuses in Spain, agreements with 2,500 companies to facilitate the employability of our students and an alumni network of more than 66,000 professionals.

The ESIC Valencia campus is located at Avenida Blasco Ibáñez 55 and opened its doors more than 35 years ago. It benefits from a privileged location due to its proximity to the university area and the city center.

ESIC in Barcelona has two campuses: the business school, located at Calle Marià Cubí 124, which opened in 2005; and the university campus, located at Paseo Santa Eulàlia 2-4, opened in 2017 as a center attached to the Universitat Rovira i Virgili.

Furthermore, Valencia is a small, affordable city, but offers all the comforts and benefits of a big city. Barcelona is an ideal city to live and study. Thanks to its privileged location, surrounded by unique architecture and landscapes combining beach and mountains, the capital of Catalonia offers a pleasant living environment also due to its cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Barcelona also stands out for its Mediterranean atmosphere and lively streets. The entertainment possibilities are endless. You can stroll along Las Ramblas, stroll through a traditional market like La Boquería, or stop off at one of its urban beaches or one of the many terraces in the historic center.
Good to know
One of the best things about Valencia is its low cost of living. You can easily find an apartment in the city center for €500 or €600 and a shared room for much less! Food, shopping and going out are much more affordable than in other European cities, making Valencia an ideal city to spend a semester.
The administrative and economic capital of Catalonia, Barcelona has Catalan as its official language. A mixture of Spanish, French and Italian, Catalan can be difficult to understand due to the often swallowed syllables. A language heavily repressed in the past, Catalan is today a language recognized by the government of Catalonia. The teaching of Catalan is also compulsory in Barcelona schools. Nearly 95% of Barcelona residents understand Catalan and 70% speak it. However, Castilian is the second official language of Catalonia.
