Strengths
Campuses are located mainly in the south of Holland and Fontys Hogescholen is one of the largest Dutch universities. Despite the large number of students, education at Fontys is organized on a small scale.

Campus
The university has 3 campuses : Eindhoven, Tilburg and Venlo. You will be on the Eindhoven Campus. All campuses are equipped with computer rooms, libraries and university restaurants.
To discover
Bombed during the Second World War, the city lost a large number of its historical buildings. However, some of them are still there and Eindhoven has managed to rebuild and develop itself in a particularly exemplary way. Shopping enthusiasts will find their paradise in Eindhoven, but the city has much more to offer. Art, culture, design, let yourself be carried away by this often overlooked destination of the Netherlands. Don’t forget to visit the Van Abbe Museum, St. Catherine’s Church and the Eindhoven Museum. The Stratum is a must for the city’s nightlife. Stroll along the 225 meters long avenue full of cafes, bars and restaurants.
Eindhoven is called “the city of light” by the locals. It also has the proud title of the world’s smartest community, a center of high technology, contemporary art and design. The city received all these titles thanks to the Philips company, whose activities had a great influence on the development and appearance of Eindhoven. There is a monument to one of the company’s founders, and the Philips Museum is one of the main attractions.
Good to know
In Eindhoven you can save money on public transport, because everyone travels by bike. Many students who come to Eindhoven buy a bicycle to get around during their stay here.

Procedures
ID Card or passport (compulsory for destinations outside the EU) valid for six months after your return date.
No specific medical insurance is required. Health coverage by the French social security (European Health Insurance Card).
For non-European students, applying for a visa before your departure is compulsory. The university helps you with the procedures.
