Exchange students can choose modules from a specific list that will be sent to them with their application information.
All the University’s undergraduate modules are 20 SCOTCAT credits, equivalent to 10 ECTS credits.

Campus
Students will be invited to an international orientation week during which they can meet other exchange students, familiarize themselves with the campus and discover the university’s various clubs and societies.
New2GCU aims to support new arrivals by offering a welcome program for students, rich in social activities, as well as a global mentoring system that pairs new international students with local GCU students.

Good to know
Glasgow is a very walkable city, especially the city center, so you can easily explore it on foot while admiring the beautiful buildings and architecture around you – just remember to “look up” when you’re in the city.

European Health Insurance Card
The GCU has a dedicated team (Visa Immigration Support and Advice Team – V.I.S.A) which offers help and advice to all foreign students.
If your application is successful, you will receive visa advice tailored to your personal situation, as well as a covering letter to help you enter the UK for your studies. If you are French, you don’t need a VISA for a study stay of less than 6 months.

Accommodation
At GCU, on-campus housing is available at Caledonian Court. If you would like to apply, please submit an application directly to the exchange office. The application form will be sent to students once they have been accepted.
