Campus
The Seoul campus is ideally located near the heart of Seoul, close to a major transportation hub (Wangsimni Station), from where you can easily access the subway, train, and bus. Hanyang University has its own subway station on campus, the Hanyang University Station on the green Line No. 2, which provides a convenient circular route through the city.

Six kilometers long, Cheonggyecheon is a very nice place to walk in downtown Seoul. Cheonggyecheon is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Seoul.
Gwanghwamun Square is a large pedestrian area where you can stroll around and take a break. This square is located right next to the entrance to Gyeongbokgung Palace.
Bukchon Hanok Village is located in the historic center of Seoul. This place is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Seoul. This is the neighborhood where the Korean nobility lived during the Joseon Dynasty. From the heights of Bukchon Hanok Village, you can see the contrast between the traditional houses in the neighborhood and the modern buildings of Seoul.

Designated a “City of Design” by UNESCO, Seoul boasts several gems of contemporary art, including Dongdaemun Design Plaza & Park and the new city hall with its huge undulating glass facade.
Seoul’s constant quest for innovation has made the city a high-tech paradise. It boasts the fastest average internet connection speed in the world, a huge digital media hub, and some of the largest companies in the technology industry.
Fashion Week, where the city’s elite designers showcase their latest streetwear creations, has become the must-attend event for industry enthusiasts.
This influential event, held twice a year in March and October, is the most important opportunity for established and up-and-coming South Korean designers to showcase their streetwear designs to industry spectators.

Procedures
Passport valid for six months after your return date.
All foreign exchange students must obtain a D-2-6 visa to study in Hanyang. The D-2-6 visa is a single-entry visa valid for only 90 days after the student’s arrival in Korea.
Consequently, students must apply for an Alien Registration Card (ARC) to extend their stay in order to complete the program and be able to travel to other countries if necessary.
Students may not leave Korea until they have received the ARC. Leaving Korea without an ARC will result in the cancellation of the visa and the visiting student program.
