To discover
Namur is the capital of Wallonia, with its 3.5 million inhabitants, in the heart of the Europe of Regions. The Government, the Parliament and the Administration are located in the heart of the city, around the confluence of the Sambre and the Meuse, at the foot of the citadelle of Namur.
With an area that reached 80 hectares, the Citadelle of Namur was one of the largest fortresses in Europe.
To visit: the Guy Delforge Perfumery Workshop, a creation center, unique in Northern Europe, which allows you to understand the different phases of the creation of a perfume.
Several festivals are organized in Namur, such as the “Pic Nic Festival” which has taken its place in the Namur landscape for some years. One of the few Blue Grass festivals in Belgium, with interesting openings to Celtic folk and jazz in the green setting of the Citadelle.
Let yourself be tempted by a ride on a “Namourette”, a small passenger boat that sails on the Meuse and the Sambre, between Jambes and Salzinnes.
The number of places in Erasmus + is limited. The granting of the scholarship is therefore not automatic and the amount may vary. However, we invite you to apply because exchange places (excluding Erasmus +) may be offered. Please refer to the Erasmus+ section.
