LIM College is located right in Midtown Manhattan, which is one of the greatest fashion capitals. LIM College’s university buildings and Residential Hall are surrounded by the world’s most famous businesses and stores.
Major, Academics
American-style education: 15 hours of classes / week but a lot of homework. You will be between 5 and 25 students per class.
The courses are mainly focused on fashion, not luxury. All of the teachers come from the professional world in the fashion field.

The campus consists of 3 buildings : on 45th avenue, 5th avenue and 53rd street.

The law in the United States prohibits the University from transmitting grades or any information about a student to a third party. You must therefore send it to us.
The cost of living is at least 50% more expensive than in Paris.

Procedures
ID Card or passport (compulsory for destinations outside the EU) valid for six months after your return date.
J-1 student visa. more info : https://fr.usembassy.gov/fr/. Your J-1 visa allows you to work for up to 20 hours / week during your studies at LIM but in a field related to your studies or after the end of the semester.
University insurance is not compulsory, but in this case you must have your international insurance approved by the university. It must meet the criteria and requirements. For instance, the university approved the AVA Health Plan Master insurance. Otherwise, you will need to take out the university insurance for US $ 718 for Fall and US $ 1018 for Spring semesters.
Accommodation
Dormitory close to the university, 5 metro stations (20 minutes from campus). Plan around $ 8,200 for the semester. Accommodation in a dormitory is not compulsory.
Rooms shared by 1 or 2 students with a shared kitchen and gym.
Moving in 2-3 days before orientation starts.
