UCN provides you with modern academic spaces for studying. You can enjoy pleasant places around the classrooms where you can sit down to have a cup of coffee or do some group work. Danish design is very well implemented in the buildings, making it a very conducive environment to study. You will also find the campus library.
To discover
As a former city where Viking ships sailed the Limfjord, Aalborg has become a cultural place with a spectacular waterfront and iconic architectural buildings.
Do not miss : the Utzon Center which offers exhibitions on Nordic architecture and design highlighting their astonishing innovative spirit, the remarkable House of Music, taste the street food in an old furniture factory on the seafront, visit the old town (cobbled streets and cozy cafes with a view of giant murals or leaning 15th century houses), the Limfjord harbor swimming pool, an open-air swimming place.
Good to know
Plan €200-270 / month for food, €50 for books. Also plan to buy a second-hand bike for € 50-200.
Public transportation is very developed there, bicycle being the most practical. Getting around by bike is extremely easy. It is recommended to buy a second-hand bike for a cost of around € 50-200. Otherwise, Danish law states that all bicycles left on public roads belong to whoever finds them (they have a yellow ring on the wheel).
Aalborg Lufthavn Airport is located 6 km away from the city center.
What's going on?
