Procedures
ID Card or passport (compulsory for destinations outside the EU) valid for six months after your return date.
The OSHC – a medical insurance- is compulsory for all foreign students at a cost of AUD353 / semester. The study visa can only be obtained when UOW issues you a letter of admission after payment of this insurance. This insurance is quite similar to the National Health Care in France. Therefore, you can plan an additional health mutual to cover unsecured risks, especially in case of travelling outside Australia (which includes your round trip).
Your VISA allows you to work 20 hours per week.
Accommodation
The university has 7 residences. The rooms are single or double, with private or shared bathroom. Plan between AUD285 and AUD385 / week.
